Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
· Develop and maintain software components for autonomous driving systems using C++ and/or Python
· Assist in implementing and optimizing algorithms for perception, localization, or planning modules
· Support system debugging, testing, and performance analysis (e.g., latency, stability)
· Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code following software engineering best practices
· Prepare technical documentation, including design documents and test reports
· Troubleshoot integration issues such as inter-module communication and data inconsistencies
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Essential
· Bachelor’s or Master’s student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Automation, Vehicle Engineering, or a related field
· Solid programming skills in C++ and/or Python
· Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
· Familiarity with Linux development environment (e.g., shell, gdb, CMake)
· Basic knowledge of software engineering practices (e.g., Git, code review)
· Strong interest in autonomous driving and intelligent vehicle technologies
Desirable
· Hands-on experience with autonomous driving projects (e.g., perception, SLAM, planning)
· Familiarity with ROS / ROS2 framework
· Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
· Background in computer vision or point cloud processing (OpenCV, PCL)
· Knowledge of multi-sensor fusion (camera, LiDAR, radar)
· Experience in embedded systems or real-time systems development
· Understanding of vehicle communication protocols (e.g., CAN bus)
· Participation in autonomous driving competitions or research projects
