JD Summary:
We are seeking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Math Intern to assist in the editing and digital production of high-quality math booklets and interactive activities. The ideal candidate will have strong mathematical proficiency and the ability to transform content into engaging educational materials. This internship provides valuable experience in curriculum development while contributing to innovative math resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Editing & Quality Assurance: Review and refine math booklets to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to educational standards.
- Digital Content Creation: Develop interactive math activities and worksheets using provided content, ensuring they are visually appealing and pedagogically effective.
- Collaboration: Work with the curriculum team to align materials with learning objectives and incorporate feedback.
- Documentation: Maintain organized records of edits, revisions, and design choices for future reference.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree (or in progress) in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
- English proficiency: CET-6+ (or equivalent certification)
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in digital tools (e.g., LaTeX, Microsoft Office, Canva, or math-specific software) for content creation.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with the ability to spot errors and improve instructional materials.
- Time Management: Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines.
Preferred (but not required):
- Experience in educational content design or tutoring.
- Familiarity with interactive learning platforms (e.g., Desmos, GeoGebra).
