Description of Position
This role belongs to APAC Product Portfolio Management team under the Marketing ; Strategy function. As an intern, you will support the execution of regional portfolio strategies with a focus on pricing, margin, and cost analytics, as well as scenario-based simulations
What you´ll do
Regular updates of price trackers, market driver packs, and sales performance reports, ensuring accurate and timely update across APAC.
Assist in new CRM systems implementation for pricing modules, including scenarios testing, process optimization, and daily operational support.
Maintain and enhance pricing and performance tracking tools (e.g., pricing dashboards, margin simulations, customer-level pricing analysis etc.), including data extraction from SAP, to support monitoring of business performance across APAC
Analyze cost drivers, pricing structures, and margin evolution to track pricing performance, to support strategic decision-making
Explore and apply AI tools to improve reporting efficiency, automate processes, and enhance analytical capabilities
Conduct market research on chemical commodity trends, competitive landscape, and macro-/micro-economic developments
Conduct ad-hoc analysis, simulations, and administrative tasks as required
What makes you a good fit
Undergraduate or graduate student in Business, Economics, Marketing, Chemistry, or a related field. Prior internship experience in business analytics, consulting, market research is a plus
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate meaningful insights
Advanced proficiency Excel skills (e.g., PivotTables, VLOOKUP; knowledge of Power Query or VBA is a plus) and PowerPoint
Good communication skills, teamwork spirit
Fluent in both English and Chinese (written and spoken)
Availability to work 4–5 days per week for at least 6 months
