职责描述
The NYU Shanghai Academic Resource Center is seeking applications for a highly-motivated and
service-oriented intern to join the team. The intern in this role will support the daily operation of the
Academic Resource Center and the services it provides.
Responsibilities
● Update the ARC website and survey forms semesterly
● Create and modify LA tutoring schedules
● Draft group emails and assist with answering inquiries sent to the ARC email alias
● Liaise with both internal and external personnel to ensure the smooth execution of student
workers’ recruitment, training, communication, and assessment
● Assist with departmental special projects, such as new student worker orientation, optional
student worker gathering events, team building events, event catering, procurement of
awards and souvenirs, etc.
● Assist with planning, implementing, and staffing yearly department/university-wide events
● Support the financial transaction process, including collecting receipts and submitting
payment requests
● Assist with maintaining the workplace environment and managing office supplies
● Proctor exams and cover the ARC front desk as needed
● Other relevant logistics support as assigned
Qualification
Required Education
● Minimum Bachelor’s Degree
Required Experience
● Experience in administrative and academic support is preferred
● Experience in studying and working in a multicultural environment is preferred
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
● Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese
● Ability to pay attention to details and have a strong sense of responsibility
● Ability to collaborate effectively and efficiently with team members
