Intern for the PhD Programs

Job Description
Position Overview:
Duke Kunshan University (DKU) is seeking an Intern to support the PhD Program Office. The intern will focus on preliminary research on PhD programs’ policies, markets, and data analysis while assisting the marketing and recruitment efforts.
Reports to:
Senior Director of PhD Programs and New Initiatives
Essential Duties:
l Research on MOE policies on PhD admissions, curriculum, and graduation requirements.
l Research on recruitment activities on peer universities on PhD programs.
l Perform market research and data analysis of new master/PhD programs.
l Explore the possibility of turning the research topics of DKU professors into popular science articles or videos.
l Assist the marketing efforts, including but not limited to email campaigns, social media and their payment process if any.
l Provide logistic support for recruitment events and academic seminars/conferences/workshops.
l Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
l Enrolled in a degree-granting educational institution (undergraduate and graduate students will be considerable).
l Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese.
