Responsibilities
Assist patrons at the circulation desk by checking in, checking out, and renewing library materials using the library management system
Respond to patron inquiries in person, by telephone and online
Assist in the maintenance of the library collection by conducting inventory, shelving, shifting, and straightening of the stacks
Make regular rounds to ensure the general appearance of the library; identify and report maintenance problems
Assist with digital collection projects by scanning books and images and uploading records
Shelf-read library stacks to maintain call number sequence and accuracy
Assist with planning and coordination of library outreach programs and special events
Participate in applicable library technology deployments as needed
Perform general office duties including filling, photocopying, and assembling documents, and maintaining office supplies, etc.
Perform other duties as assigned.
