Intern for Leadership Programs
Position Overview:
DKU Leadership Programs is looking for a dynamic, hard-working and reliable intern to join the team. The Intern supports the coordination and execution of student leadership programs at DKU. This role assists the team with events and programs, administrative tasks, marketing and communications, while getting hands-on experience in leadership development in a university setting.
Essential Duties:
Program and Event Support
Assist in preparing materials, set-ups, and registrations for events and initiatives offered under the leadership programs, such as leadership workshops, conferences, and awards ceremonies.
Provide onsite support during programs (e.g. guest reception, student check in, room coordination, AV support, etc.)
Student Leaders Board (SLB) Operations
Attend weekly Student Leaders Board meetings as needed, and work with student workers to ensure the smooth flow of board regular operations.
Support or develop initiatives and toolkits to aid the development of the board.
Communications and Marketing
Create engaging content and promotion materials for activities and events, including but not limited to: social media blurbs, newsletter, video campus platform blurbs, handbook, etc.
Assist in developing communication toolkit for the program, including but not limited to: program introduction deck, partnership brief, etc.
Required Qualifications:
Undergraduate or graduate student in good academic standing.
Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook).
Experience in operating social media (WeChat Public Accounts, Ins, LinkedIn, etc.)
Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
Organized and attentive to detail.
Strong sense of responsibility.
Growth mindset and willingness to explore new things.
Ability to work 5 days a week for at least 3 months.
