Intern for the Office of Assessment
Position Overview:
The Office of Assessment at Duke Kunshan University is seeking a motivated intern to support our team in education research and event planning initiatives. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in both fields, where the intern will collaborate with our team to contribute to meaningful educational projects and well-executed events. The internship will involve assisting with research analysis, content development, logistical coordination, and on-site support, making it ideal for individuals interested in education, project management, or event coordination.
Reports to:
Assistant Director of Assessment
Essential Duties:
Assist in conducting literature reviews and data collection related to educational trends, policies, or program effectiveness.
Support the development of research materials, such as surveys, interview guides, or case study outlines.
Contribute to the planning and coordination of events (e.g., workshops, seminars, webinars, or conferences), including drafting agendas, securing venues, and managing participant registrations.
Collaborate with team members in brainstorming sessions for research projects or event concepts.
Contribute to ongoing projects within the Office of Assessment.
Other administrative duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Currently enrolled student, or graduate who has received admission offer for a graduate program.
Ability to commit to an internship of 6 months or longer, with occasional leave requests open to negotiation.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn.
Ability to handle confidential information.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong work ethics and sense of responsibility.
